Kurrajong Waratah is a not-for-profit organisation based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. They provide support, training and opportunities to people with an intellectual disability/development delay and their families/carers through targeted services.
One of Kurrajong Waratah’s main fundraising ventures (K.W. must raise over 50% of its own income) is the annual Race Day. Held at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club, this family orientated event is a lot of fun and always draws a large, appreciative crowd, as can be seen in the picture to the right. Balloonatic Bruce has been performing at this event for many years and people are always pleased to see him, and the children get very excited about it.

Balloonatic Bruce bringing fun to Nagambie
Balloonatic Bruce was at Sienna’s 5th birthday recently and afterwards, he was very touched to receive in the mail, these beautiful drawings from Sienna and her older sister Sammi.
Sienna’s picture is on the left. She has drawn herself and Balloonatic Bruce performing magic together and she has placed us under a beautiful rainbow! That must be Ally Kazam, the incredible magic bunny at the bottom left.
Sammi has also drawn herself performing with Balloonatic Bruce. At parties the birthday child and siblings always get to come up front and ‘help’ with the magic – its a real thrill for them. Notice how Sammi has me holding up the box with a sweet little Ally Kazam inside. She also has some little party guests sprinkled around, plus for good measure, her little sister blowing out the candles. FABULOUS WORK GIRLS!
